Sara Lentz

With a background in early childhood education and a passion for teaching and learning, Ms. Lentz’s objective is to help students achieve their academic goals. As a former kindergarten teacher and mother of two college age sons, she has a good understanding of the demands and challenges which students (and their families) can experience in traditional classroom settings. She believes that the low key, focused environment of one-on-one tutoring helps students steadily improve their skills and meet their goals. Working with families and students, she will customize a tutoring plan that takes into consideration the individual students’ needs and learning styles.

Ms. Lentz has a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Boston College. In addition, she has received professional training in the Orton-Gillingham based approach to helping students with dyslexia and other learning issues. During her free time, Ms. Lentz enjoys reading, gardening and yoga.
